Chet is a partner at Reisler Franklin. Chet joined the firm as an articling student in 2003, after graduating from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts, in history, at the University of Windsor. He was called to the bar in 2004.
A native of Windsor, Chet practices in all areas of insurance defence litigation, including personal injury, property damage, construction matters, and motor vehicle accident benefits. Chet also regularly provides coverage opinions for insurers. Chet has acquired significant trial experience, having acted as lead counsel in both jury and non-jury matters.
In addition, Chet is active in the legal community, being a member of the Board of Directors for Canadian Defence Lawyers (CDL). Furthermore, Chet is a member of DRI – The Voice of the Defence Bar, and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. He is also a co-founder of the annual Lawyers Can’t Jump charity basketball tournament.
Outside of the office, Chet enjoys spending time with his two children, playing basketball, and sampling Ontario’s fine craft beers.
